Philippa brings over 25 years of experience to the firm’s commercial lending practice. Her pragmatic and results-driven approach has made her a trusted advisor to national, regional and community banks and developers. She has successfully closed complex transactions involving commercial office, multi-family housing and retail projects, land and vertical condominium projects, hotels, shopping centers, cooperatives and mixed-use projects. She also has extensive experience in asset-based financing, leasehold financing, letters of credit and guidance facilities. In addition, Philippa represents lenders in loan workouts, foreclosures and other business financing matters. Her commercial lending practice involves the structuring of transactions, negotiation and drafting of loan and guaranty agreements, all types of security documents, participation agreements and intercreditor agreements.

Typical transactions she closed recently include, a facility financing a large scale project from assemblage and development phases through construction and stabilization, monitored A/R lines in the range of $5MM to $20MM, line of credit/letter of credit facilities in the $5MM to $15MM range secured by member capital commitments in established funds, numerous small and large condominium conversion loans, facilities for the national expansion of rapidly growing regional businesses, and construction facilities for a variety of projects such as single family homes, flex warehouses, hotel pip and multi-family and mixed-use projects.
