Lindsay A. Thompson
Lindsay concentrates her practice in the area of commercial litigation, with a focus on real estate, financial services, commercial lending, secured transactions, workouts, foreclosures, commercial leasing, and general commercial contractual disputes. Her clients include national and community-based lenders, financial institutions, closely held businesses, commercial property owners and individuals. Lindsay provides legal assistance in connection with title disputes, workout agreements, foreclosures, forbearance agreements, and collection remedies in connection with loan repayment. When necessary, Lindsay assists lenders in recovering and liquidating real and personal property collateral in state and federal courts at the trial and appellate levels. Due to the nature of her practice, Lindsay also has experience representing creditors in bankruptcy disputes. Lindsay is also well versed in alternative dispute resolution systems, including mediation and arbitration.
Lindsay also has experience in a wide range of transactional matters, including commercial lending transactions and other contract documentation.
Lindsay’s professional memberships include the District of Columbia Bar, the Virginia Bar Association (Civil Litigation Section), the Maryland State Bar Association (Litigation and Young Lawyers Sections), and the American Bar Association.
Prior to joining Friedlander Misler, Lindsay practiced law in Chicago, Illinois.
